Mission to Haiti Canada was formed in 1997 and is administered by a board of directors comprised of volunteers. Our mission is to empower the Haitian people with the skills and means to create a better life for themselves through education, nutrition, health care and Christian mentoring. We work through the Presbyterian Mission in Haiti to serve a number of Churches and Communities under local indigenous pastors.
Mission teams are an important venue for people to share their gifts and talents with the Haitians. We arrange for teams engaging in medical/dental clinics, construction projects, vacation bible school, food relief and child sponsorship. The sponsorship program is vital in providing education, food and clothing to the needy children of Haiti.
