What is the Kids@Calvary Family Experience?

A children’s service that is fun for the entire family! Families will be seated at their own table to maintain social distancing. The program will include table activities, stage lead games, teaching, videos, worship and family huddle time to wrap things up! One parent or mature teen sibling must register and attend the family experience. The family experience will take place alongside the main service so if you are registered for the family experience you will not be able to attend the main service.

WHAT TO EXPECT WHEN YOU ARRIVE

FAQ

• Attendees will register, complete with screening questions prior to arrival.
• Volunteers will be wearing masks.
• All items touched will only be used for one service or fully sanitized in between services.
• Surfaces and seats will be sanitized and cleaned before and after all services.
• Additional hand-sanitizing stations will be placed throughout the building.
• No snacks will be offered.
• Seating in the family experiences will be appropriately spaced to comply with current COVID guidelines.

• If you (or anyone in your household) are feeling sick, if you have health concerns, if you have recently travelled, or if you have been in contact with anyone who is sick, please stay home and join us online.
• Please wash your hands, use hand sanitizer often, and use proper methods with a sneeze or cough (into your arm, not your hands).
• Maintain a distance of six or more feet between yourself and other guests.
• Please respect the personal health decisions of others.
• Reserve seats for you and your family in advance of attending by choosing the Family Experience ticket option.
• Do not gather in groups before or after the service; please wave and say hello from a distance.
• Please respect others and social distance when getting in and out of your vehicles.
• Please wear a mask to the service. We ask that everyone joining us for an in-person Sunday service would wear a face mask. Children under the age of 5 are exempt from this requirement. In an effort to protect our church family and guests, with a specific concern for the elderly, young children, and those who are immunocompromised, we are extending our mask wearing requirements as a request to all who enter the building on a Sunday morning. Our desire is to reduce the risk for these groups, provide an atmosphere where everyone feels safe to attend, and do everything we can to make sure that the church doors continue to stay open.
• If you are unable or unwilling to wear a mask, we ask that you would continue joining us online for Sunday service for the time being, instead of attending an in-person service, in order to protect those vulnerable groups listed above. As current conditions pose a higher risk to those who are vulnerable, we want to do everything we can to keep everyone safe, and we appreciate your partnership with us in that approach. We know that this is a sensitive issue, and thank our entire congregation for their flexibility and understanding.

• Register the names of kids and adults who will be attending the family experience at the kids ministry desk by the front entrance. Then, proceed to the sanctuary to attend the worship service with the kids. When announcements begin, children along with the parent who registered for family experience will proceed to the basement for programming. This will be for 30-40 minutes.
• Children of families not registered to attend the family experience will receive an activity page (please bring your own pencil and crayons!).
• Once in your seats we ask that you remain in your seats.
