The community of Ayr is largely unreached, and is poised to continue to growing in the future. There is an incredible opportunity to establish a thriving, life-giving church in the heart of this community. This exciting plan to reach people and expand God’s Kingdom in Ayr is well worth the sacrifice and effort required to make this happen.
Healthy things grow, and growing things change. Calvary Pentecostal Assembly has lived a full century of historical growth and change. On Our 100th anniversary, we now have a new opportunity to step out in faith, and build for a bigger and brighter future!
Our ministry philosophy drives us to be very active in our community. This means we leverage a lot of financial, spiritual, and human resources into reaching people with various events throughout the entire year. The Ayr Campus would adopt and reflect the same ministry vision, mission, and philosophy. In essence, it will carry the same heart, feel, and ministry ‘DNA’ as our location in Cambridge.
The building is mortgage free, but requires a significant investment to complete an important list of repairs, renovations and upgrades.
Calvary will assume financial responsibility for renovations to the Calvary Ayr Facility. The overall goal is for the Ayr campus to look, sound, and feel similar to our campus in Cambridge. This project is to include, but may not be limited to the following projects:
Grand Total... $383,000
Phase 1: Short term Fundraising in First 90 Days = $100,000
Phase 2: Mid-term Fundraising by Easter 2020 = $150,000
Phase 3: Long term Fundraising by September 2020 = $133,000
See the “Vision” section above to understand the “why” behind the addition of the Ayr Campus. As a matter of fact, 2019 is the 100th Anniversary of Calvary Assembly. In this season of celebration, we very much realize that we have the unique opportunity and remarkable privilege to also reach forward into the next century of ministry for this House, with fresh vision to reach lost people in our region, and to grow God’s Kingdom.
Primarily, each campus will host events and outreaches at its own local facility, but there will be key moments throughout the year when we will invite both campuses to come together to make connections and build stronger community with one another.
Calvary Cambridge sent a team of capable, mature, high energy leaders and volunteers to be a part of the new Ayr Campus. They have been working in harmony with the current leaders in Ayr in the pre-launch, launch, and post-launch stages.

Our goal is to raise all of the necessary funds through the main Cambridge campus, Ayr campus, and additional minor assistance from the Western Ontario District of PAOC. When this initiative was presented to and affirmed by our church membership, the stated goal was to raise the entire amount of funding required to complete all of the projects relevant to this new campus in Ayr. This opportunity calls for a sacrificial commitment from our entire congregation. We are convinced this is God’s assignment for us to fulfill, and our giving can set up the long-term reward of reaching Ayr in a significant way for Christ.
